Drinking beer and driving a school bus… the two don’t mix.
Reading this article from Newsweek, it makes me wonder what goes through the minds of some people.
Communities hold school bus drivers to a higher moral standard and it surely is a betrayal of trust when an adult (she was 44) having custody of children should do something of this capacity. Drinking when driving any vehicle is dangerous and irresponsible, but a school bus? I shudder to think what could have happened!
The school district was tipped off when the school bus driver pulled up to a gas station / convenience store with her school bus. She went inside, purchased some beer and returned to her bus. Then she drove off – with students aboard!
